A Forbes article taking a look at the future of gaming includes some quotes from Nintendo president Satoru Iwata who revealed that, "We are always preparing for the next hardware. We are under development. This time around, it happened to be we had a revolutionary user interface. Will it be the same for the next generation? I really can't tell. If the people are expecting so many different things from Nintendo, it's going to be difficult for us to go beyond that expectation again."

Set 500 years after the original game, Fable 2 will offer even more choices and features, while building on the core gameplay theme of Fable where every choice continually defines who you become, allowing you to truly live the life you choose. Nintendo filed suit in the Tokyo District Court against several companies that sell DS flash cart units (R4 Revolution / CycloDS Evolution), which allow homebrew material but are also used to load pirated games.
