'American Conquest' - Screens

The "L-Mode" in American Conquest allows the user to zoom out of the area and get an overview. It prevents the people in getting lost in the epic battles, American Conquest is able to offer. The "L-Mode", however is not only a basic zoom function, but the player is still able to control every and each unit of his troops. This offers a whole new field in tactical combat, as you’re able to organize your attacks in a much broader view. 'Splinter Cell' (Xbox) Goes Gold!

Game fans everywhere are excited to learn that today the hottest title to hit the Xbox this holiday season, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell, has gone gold. Developed by Ubi Soft Entertainment's Montreal studio, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell has won numerous awards including the E3 Game Critics Awardfor best action game and the ECTS overall best game of the show award. The game received a 9.6, the highest review score ever given by Official Xbox Magazine, earning it an Editor's Choice Award. According to the editors of Electronic Gaming Monthly, "Splinter Cell will change the way people look at video games."

Ubi Soft Entertainment today announced that the next product in the IL-2 Sturmovik flight simulation product line, IL-2 Sturmovik: Forgotten Battles, will no longer be an add-on to the original game, but upgraded to a feature packed full, standalone sequel that will not require gamers to own the original IL-2 Sturmovik product. IL-2 Sturmovik: Forgotten Battles will be released on February 20th 2003.

The multiplayer-focused expansion pack Battlefield 1942:The Road to Rome gives you more maps, more vehicles, more weapons and more fighting forces. The Road to Rome will focus exclusively on the largely underpublicized Italian and Sicilian campaigns of WWII, where you can fight on up to six new maps including Operation Husky (Sicily) and the battles for Anzio and Monte Cassino. Lost Kingdoms II, the sequel to the highly acclaimed real-time action RPG for the Nintendo GameCube. Propelled by a dramatic storyline, players take the role of a new young heroine with the ability to summon powerful creatures using magical Guardian Creature Cards. Like its predecessor, Lost Kingdoms II is being developed by FromSoftware, Inc. The game is expected to be available next spring and has not yet been rated by the ESRB.
