Ubi Soft To Publish 'Lunar Legend' For GBA

Ubi Soft Entertainment today announced that it will publish the hugely popular role-playing game Lunar Legend for the Game Boy Advance in North America this fall. Lunar Legend features an epic storyline about a young man thrust into adventure on his quest to become a Dragonmaster and save the world. Lunar Legend has an MSRP of $29.99, and is expected to ship to U.S. retail shelves in November, 2002.

XIII - Stealth Trailer

Ubi Soft Entertainment has released a few gameplay movie from their upcoming shooter, XIII. It features music and sound, the :39 second video is titled "Stealth," as it demonstrates all manner of skulking around, as well as the game's distinctive cel-shaded graphics. Shrapnel Games announced today that the Space Horse Net Game Matching Service is available for download. Richard Arnesen, of Shrapnel Games, stated “Now Space Horse fans from all over the world can find each other for multiplayer games. Once you get tired of beating up on your friends, and the AI, you can take on the entire world in resource mayhem!”

Splinter Cell (Xbox) - New Screens

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell will release in time for the lucrative Christmas 2002 market exclusively on Xbox, with a PC version to appear by the end of the year. Xbox is the lead development platform for the game, which has been designed to take full advantage of the advanced graphics and sound capabilities of Xbox. Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell will also feature online elements using the recently announced Xbox Live service. According to the official French Raven Shield Web site, a multiplayer demo of the game will be available within the next two weeks. Czech publisher Cinemax sent Tiscali Games today a playable English demo of their upcoming isometric RPG - Necromania: Trap of Darkness. It's available at size 74 MB.

Update: Following today's demo, they also have a new trailer from this upcoming RPG title, which contains about 1 minute of gameplay footage. It's available in low-res (256x192, 2,5 MB) or high-res (512x384, 6,5 MB) DivX format here!

The official site for Duplex Systems massively multiplayer online game (MMOG), Face of Mankind, got a major update. The Face of Mankind discussion forum got a completely new face and they changed their servers to provide a faster handling, new visuals to check out "The RGI9 by Gakk Technologies, an Assault Rifle, is one of the two heaviest weapons available in Face of Mankind", a new batch of screenshots, updated ranking systems and the first official music impression is available for download!

Cinemaware’s epic game production, Robin Hood: Defender of the Crown is currently in development at the company’s headquarters in Burlingame, California. The product is based on Cinemaware’s hit game Defender of the Crown, first released in 1986 on the Commodore Amiga and subsequently to a variety of platforms where sold over 1,000,000 units worldwide. Allied Assault: Spearhead Rating

Yesterday Steve Groll at Electronic Arts confirmed the new name for the Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault expansion pack "Spearhead" and on EA's info website the expansion was rated "M" (Mature rating given by ESRB). Today planetmedalofhonor confirmed with EA that the "Mature" rating is a mistake, and that the "Teen" rating will stick. (thanks Gamespy)
