Destineer's announced Fullmetal Alchemist: Dual Sympathy is a side-scrolling action/adventure game that puts players in the role of Edward Elric, the Fullmetal Alchemist on a quest to defeat the evil Homunculi and acquire the fabled Philosopher's Stone.

Microsoft today announced that it expects to ship more than 10 million Xbox 360 units to retailers by the end of the current calendar year. That number refers to units "sold into retail," which refers to units in transit, units sitting in store inventories and machines sold to consumers.

Sony Europe today announced that they've sold 40 million PlayStation 2 units in Europe and PAL territories, surpassing the PS1's 39 million mark. PlayStation 2 has over 2,000 titles available throughout Europe, with another 50 due for release in time for Christmas. Majesco today announced that it will be publishing Cooking Mama: Cook Off for the Wii. Scheduled for release early next year, Cooking Mama: Cook Off is a follow-up to the Nintendo DS predecessor that is being showcased in approximately 10,000 retail demo kiosks nationwide in November.
