Bet On Soldier is a first-person shooter which presents something considerably different in order to stand out from the crowd. With a corporation-takes-over-the-world-style plot, Bet On Soldier allows players to do exactly what it promises with its title - that is, bet on the outcome of encounters with specific enemies. Before entering battle, players can wager on which particular enemy soldiers they are going to kill.

Based on an updated version of the same engine technology used in Bungie's first person shooter "Halo," "Rebel Without a Pulse" puts players in control of a wisecracking zombie named Stubbs, "who takes on an ultra-modern city of the future using nothing but his own carcass and the weapons of his possessed enemies." The game is rife with tongue-in-cheek humor, a strong storyline and innovative combat techniques.

'CS:S' and 'Source Engine' Get Steamy Update #12

Valve's SteamPowered website has been updated with details regarding yet another update for Counter-Strike Source, the Source Engine and its Source SDK. This update fixes various exploits with CS: S and implements some game server changes to the Source Engine, while the Source SDK gets some bug fixes and added materials. Logitech Launches Gaming-Grade Optical Mouse

Now, gamers no longer need to choose between maximum speed and optimum precision for that edge. They can have it both ways with the new Logitech MXTM518 Gaming-Grade Optical Mouse, which Logitech unveiled today at CeBIT. The mouse puts quick-shift controls at gamers' fingertips – with one click, gamers can instantly increase and decrease mouse resolution from as high as 1600 dots per inch (dpi) to as low as 400 dpi. And, no software is required.

Tannhauser Gate Pulls the Plug on 'Mimesis Online'

Tannhauser Gate announced today that it will shut down its post-apocalyptic MMORPG Mimesis Online. "Mimesis Online has been a great journey that we started back in 1998, and released in 2002. It was a very ambitious project and one of the first Massively Multiplayer Online Games set in a post-apocalyptic world. Mimesis Online was a pioneer in the genre in many ways. Frogger makes his debut on the Nintendo DS in a "ribbit-ing" platformer game Frogger where he finds himself called upon to stop an evil force that threatens his home, Firefly Swamp, and the nearby kingdom of Bunnington Hollow. To stop the insidious Dr. Wani and his destructive mining efforts, Frogger must use all of his hopping and dodging skills, along with many new talents, to infiltrate the mastermind's lair and bring his evil plans crashing down.

'Pac-Pix' (NDS) - 8 New Screens

In Pac-Pix, Namco's iconic hero finds himself facing off against his perennial foes - the Ghosts. With the aid of mysterious "Ghost Ink," a mischievous wizard has drawn meddling Ghosts from thin air. Armed with only his mighty Magic Pen, Pac-Man rushed to defeat the Ghosts and to lock them into a book. But in the process of turning them back into Ghost Ink, our hero finds himself trapped inside. Using the DS stylus, players must resume Pac-Man's quest by drawing him into life and directing his movements on the lower screen.
