BuzzingCars is a totally crazy racing game where you'll not only need to be fast but also smart. The brutal and spectacular gladiator battles of the ancient world serve as inspiration for Gladius, a turn-based action role-playing (RPG) game from LucasArts. Gladius follows the grand saga of two young heroes, Ursula and Valens, as they recruit and train a team of warriors to contend in the fiercely competitive gladiator games. The game supports both single and multiplayer modes and is expected to release spring 2003 on PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube.

"Kakuto Chojin" is a gritty street fight. Dark, edgy and mysterious battles take place in dark alleys and on rain-soaked rooftops. Combatants fight with raw emotion using their own styles. There is nothing cute, comical or cartoon-like about these battles. It's a life-or-death battle for survival. When a fighter strikes, his or her opponent will know it. Today Empire Interactive and Vivendi Universal Games announced that Endgame, developed by Cunning Developments for the PlayStation2 has shipped to retailers and is now available in stores. This Light-Gun action game features an in-depth story line unique to this genre. As Jade, players go through over 15 timed levels in a race against the clock. The combination of fast paced action, ease of use and multi-player capabilities make Endgame a perfect addition to the PS2 collection.

Beta 1 features Microsoft’s innovative new high-level shader language (HLSL), a powerful new programming model that offers the easiest-to-use graphics creation toolset for developers.

Infogrames is working on a pinball game, "Akira Psycho Ball", for the PS2. So here we have a few (rather fuzzy) screens of what it looks like. No specific details nor a scheduled release date is known yet, but we will keep you posted.
