Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell will release in time for the lucrative Christmas 2002 market exclusively on Xbox, with a PC version to appear by the end of the year. Xbox is the lead development platform for the game, which has been designed to take full advantage of the advanced graphics and sound capabilities of Xbox. Simon & Schuster let us know a few days ago that the game went gold and that we can expect it in stores within the next week, today Blue's News and 3D Gamers offer the playable demo of Farscape the Game, giving you the opportunity to try out this imminent 3D top-down action game by Red Lemon Studios that's based on the popular sci-fi TV series. The demo clocks in at a modest 63.6 MB and contains an intro movie, a training level, and a part of the full game where you get to control team members John Crichton and Chianna (thanks Blues).

The PC game is based on the legendary comic strip Judge Dredd, published in 2000AD every week since 1977. It will be a first-person shooter seen through the eyes of Judge Dredd as he patrols the mean streets of the stunningly realised future metropolis, Mega-City One. Dredd will find himself having to deal with the full spectrum of criminal behaviour, from littering and caffeine abuse to saving the city from the utterly evil Judge Death.
