Eidos and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment on behalf of DC Comics announce Batman: Arkham Asylum, a 3rd-person action game powered by the Unreal Engine 3, with a dark and gritty setting reminiscent of Bioshock. Gamestop revealed a Batman collector's edition, which is listed at $100, and includes a 12" Batarang, DC Custom Encyclopedia, DLC pack 1, bonus DVD with behind the scenes footage and the soundtrack.

'Based on the 20th Century Fox feature film of the same name, Dragonball: Evolution promises to be the perfect companion for the movie by incorporating all of the characters, bone jarring fights and spectacular special abilities that fans have come to expect.

Back in 2001 EA signed the right to make games based on The Lord of the Rings movies, which was initially set to expire in 2007, but extended an extra year to give Pandemic enough time to finish their LotR: Conquests title.
