Microsoft and Netflix announced that 1 million Xbox Live Gold members have downloaded and activated the Xbox Live application from Netflix since the alliance launched last November. In less than three months the Xbox Live community has watched instantly 1.5 billion minutes of movies and TV episodes.

An Electronic Arts schedule for the New York Comic Con mentions Battlefield 1943: Pacific postcards being handed out, revealing EA DICE might be working on a new title in the series. While details seem sketchy, rumor has it that this will be a PS3/X360 title, while others also claim it to be coming to PC. As with previous titles in the franchise, Battlefield 1943: Pacific will be an online multiplayer game, and have you visit locations such as Guadalcanal, Iwo Jima and Wake Island.
