SCEA is expanding the availability of its PlayStation Network Cards, which can be used to purchase content for PS3 and PSP systems, to additional major retailers such as Walmart, Best Buy, select Sam’s Club outlets in October 2008, and at Barnes & Noble College Bookstores locations in November 2008.

A leaked Blockbuster memo reveals that it will be dropping the price of the discontinued 40GB PS3 model from $360 to $299.
