Bully: Scholarship Edition tells the story of 15-year-old Jimmy Hopkins as he experiences the highs and lows of adjusting to a new school. Eight new missions, four new school classes, new unlockable items & clothing, new two-player offline minigames, new awards and Achievements. Embarrassed by its own lack of quality, Rockstar is working on a fix for the freezing/crashing issues with the X360 version, scheduled for release somewhere next week.

Microsoft Moving Forward with Blu-ray Support

During a Q&A session at the Mix 2008 web developers event, Microsoft Chief Executive Steve Ballmer revealed that the software giant plans to support Sony's Blu-ray HD disk format now that Toshiba's HD-DVD has thrown in the towel. Steve Ballmer said, "... as the industry moves forward, obviously we're going to support Blu-ray in ways that are important. I want to make sure there's the right support. We've already been working on, for example, in Windows device driver support for Blu-ray drives and the like."

Midway Extends Credit As Losses Mount

Midway released its 2007 and Q1 2008 financial numbers, revealing net revenues are down (from $96.9M to $77.6M), while Q4 losses increased from $2M in 2006 to $29.7M in 2007. To brace itself for impact, Midway has dropped its $30 million credit with Wells Fargo Foothill and instead opted for a $90 million deal with National Amusements, Inc.
