Crystal Dynamics has made Tomb Raider Underworld more realistic with fluid movements due to motion capturing. Set a few years after the last game, it also features persistent destruction and lush locales across the globe. Lara gets muddy in the game, but with the weather system, rain will wash it away.

Combat Arms is a free-to-play online FPS that deploys players into a dangerous war zone teaming with soldiers of fortune looking to make a mark. Since its open beta in July, Combat Arms surpassed one million registered users, and has yet to launch in Europe.

Spectromancer is a new turn-based online fantasy card game, where gamers can play as one of six powerful types of wizards and take on the corrupt council of magic and its innumerable minions.

Former Ubisoft and Gameloft developers who worked on titles such as Far Cry 2, Prince of Persia, Ghost Recon, Brothers in Arms decided to take matters into their own hands and form a new studio, trapdoor. Located in downtown Montreal, the studio is currently working on a multiplatform (X360/PS3/PC) original IP, but no further details are available at this point.

cdv USA has signed a multi-year third-party distribution agreement with Atari for its key console, handheld and multi-platform video games, including the upcoming action-oriented deep fantasy RPG Sacred 2, currently scheduled for Nov. 11, 2008.

XIII Century is a 3D RTS that combines Risk-style strategy with real-time tactical action, immersing you in a medieval world of noble knights, ruthless nomads, courageous deeds and internal wars. The standalone expansion will cover the little known Russian medieval history, featuring improved visuals, larger battlefields, up to 32,000 troops, upgradable troops, and improved gameplay/multiplayer.

Fallout 3 places a player in the role of a Vault-dweller, who ventures from his secluded, underground survival Vault into a post-apocalyptic world of mutants, radiation, gangs and violence. Without giving much of an explanation, apart from citing cultural sensitivities, Microsoft has decided to not release Fallout 3 in India.

Lips is a music and singing game that includes 30 songs, 2 wireless interactive microphones (with motion sensors that allow you to dance, move or swing to score points), the ability to use and sing your own music or download songs from an online service.
