Based on a persistent manga-style universe, Street Gears is a massively multiplayer roller game where players can challenge each others in races or tricks contests. Street Gears will be opened in its closed beta for a limited amount of players, from Sept. 10th to Sept. 19th, after which the open beta will be initiated.

D3Publisher will bring its classic PSP titles to gamers for download via the PlayStation Store in North America beginning this September. PSP system owners will no longer need a UMD to play titles such as mini-game collection WTF: work time fun, the original Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords, and third person-action game Dead Head Fred.

'Star Wars: The Force Unleashed' (ALL) Coming to PC After All ?

Set between the largely unexplored era between Ep III and Ep IV, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed casts players as Darth Vader's "Secret Apprentice" and promises to unveil new revelations about the Star Wars galaxy. At NVISION 08 Pixelux Entertainment's COO Vik Sohal, the company that developed The Force Unleashed's DMM physics tech, revealed has a PC version as well.

UPDATE: LucasArts sent us a short statement saying that there is NO PC version planned.

'Rock Band' Gets Euro Price Cut, Ship Date for PS3, PS2, and Wii Editions

Harmonix and EA announced a European price cut for the Rock Band Instrument Edition on the X360, which will now retail for €139.99/£109.99, which will also be the base price for the PS3, PS2 and Wii editions, scheduled to ship later this month.
