Back in October 2007, a Nintendo release list revealed Ubisoft is working on an NDS version of Assassin's Creed, and while there is yet to be an announcement, the first details are trickling in. Developed by Gameloft, Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles will be set prior to the console versions. You'll be able to pull off acrobatic moves in a fully 3D environment, interrogate informers and pick pocket by using the stylus, master sword fighting, stealth assassinations, combo attacks, and a variety of weapons.

SouthPeak Games announced a new twist on the racing genre in the form of Iridium Runners, placing gamers in a futuristic world where they are literally running for their lives.

Left 4 Dead, developed by Counter-Strike makers Turtle Rock Studios, is a co-operative multiplayer action game, using the Source Engine, and also introducing Turtle Rock's v2.0 A.I. technology. Originally scheduled for late 2007, then delayed until Q1 2008, recently acquired Turtle Rock Studios revealed today that Left 4 Dead is now scheduled for Aug./Sept. 2008.

SouthPeak Games' Monster Madness: EX follows in the footsteps of Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia with four player co-op gameplay, an all new polished look and improved game elements for its PS3 debut.

Spacetime Studios announced that its MMO project Blackstar has been canceled by NCSoft, and as a result the Texas based developer had to let go 12 staff members. Spacetime Studios gives no reason why it was canceled by stated that it has a complete MMO engine w/ networking infrastructure, tools suite, and next-gen rendering engine, and is dedicated to the IP.

Army of Two will throw gamers into hot spots ripped from current day headlines where they will utilize unique TWO man strategies and tactics while seamlessly transitioning between playing with intelligent Partner AI (PAI) and a live player.

K2 Network announced the release of Chapter 2: Revelations for its tactical online FPS, War Rock. This giant patch features a dramatic new storyline, two new maps, three new vehicles, four new PX items and an exciting new parachute system.

de Blob is an action puzzle title that allows players to explore and liberate an alien city from the evil, monochromatic I.N.K.T. Corporation that has taken over the city and outlawed all color and fun from daily life, by splattering buildings, landmarks, and citizens with color.
