'Vampire Story' Now Known As 'Vampire World' - Screens

Mayhem Studios has renamed its title to Vampire World, in order to not be confused with A Vampyre Story. Vampire World is a combination of the RPG and adventure genres. You're an adventurer living amongst the dead and investigating a creepy murder that even the vampires themselves seem to avoid.

Indie MMO developer Three Rings, known for Puzzle Pirates and Bang! Howdy, announced Whirled, a web-based virtual world based on games and player-created content. Currently in private alpha testing with a limited invited audience, Whirled will have a public beta later this year.

Gears of War blends the best of tactical action games with the best of survival horror titles, thrusting gamers into the harrowing story of humankind's battle for survival against the Locust Horde. At GDC Mark Rein confirmed that Epic is planning and working on the conversion, as the game was actually developed on a PC. Epic is a small company so it usually focuses on one project at a time, so Gears of War for PC will get its full attention once UT 3 ships.
