KOEI Europe announced that Fatal Inertia and Bladestorm will be released Summer ’07 in Europe on PS3 in order to give the the development teams enough time to ensure the highest levels of quality possible.

In development at Japanese studio d'Artoon, Vampire's Rain is a survival horror action game set in Los Angeles where you play as John Lloyd, an AIB special agent who has to fight his way past hordes Night Walker zombies.

In a somewhat surprising move, it seems that the long time Tony Hawk developer Neversoft may have taken over development of the Guitar Hero franchise. Harmonix, known for the first 2 Guitar Hero titles, but also Karaoke Revolution, is rumored to move its resources to an all-new IP. Neversoft is recruiting for the 3rd title in the franchise, one of the positions being a PS3 Graphics Engineer, indicating a move from PS2 to Sony's nextgen console.

Battlestations: Midway follows the story of naval recruit Henry Walker, whose first assignment as a gunner at Pearl Harbor is the starting point of an incredible career at the heart of the US Pacific Fleet in 1942. Eidos plans to release a multiplayer demo, one map called Island of Solomon, on Xbox Live Marketplace this coming Thursday. The map will put American vs. Chinese forces, where either side needs to destroy the others' naval base, air base, and aircraft carrier.

Abborado Studios announced the first entry in their series, Once Upon a Time in Japan: Earth. The series aims to transport players to various periods in Japan’s storied history, giving them a look at the inner struggles of a country bound by tradition and ruled by the warrior class.

Beginning this Thursday, January 18th, RACE: The Official WTCC Game will be available for free trial via Steam. Now available for pre-load, the RACE Free Weekend begins Thursday and ends Sunday afternoon, offering PC gamers the intense action of the WTCC championship.
