EA announced today that it has released three new maps (Weathertop, Argonath, and Umbar) for its recently released RTS Battle For Middle-Earth 2, available on Xbox Live Marketplace. Play as any of the six factions in single-player skirmish and any of the five multiplayer modes.

Spike and Acquire are bringing Shinobi to the PSP, scheduled for release in Japan end of October. Based on the PS2 version, Shinobi features singleplayer, with 30 playable characters, as well as 4 player Versus multiplayer with 20 playable skins. The Mission Play Mode will allow you to connect to the PS2 and import missions made through the game editor.

The decision was made the secure a more complete, less buggy beta version of Savage 2: A Tortured Soul. A specific date on when the beta will begin was not provided but in 2 weeks there will be an official update with progress and hopefully have a better timeline.
