The science fiction shooter BREED by Brat Designs, to be released the 2nd half of 2002, will skillfully blend addictive, accessible, free-roaming gameplay with state-of-the-art technology to expand not only the game potential but also the player’s perceived freedom within the game world. Today the official site for Breed is updated with an example for the development process in the form of USC GRUNT (Genetically Revived UNiversal Tactical Sentient).

Seems like we missed to toss this announcement up, but here it is anyway.. Konami of America, Inc. announced today that its successful PlayStation 2 adventure game, Shadow of Destiny, will be released for the PC in April 2002. Originally released in Spring 2001, Shadow of Destiny has received numerous accolades for its rich story line and stunning graphics.

XGR tossed up a bunch of new screens from press the build of the 3D tactical RPG, Freedom Force, that is in the works at Irrational Games.

Fileplanet is now mirroring the Star Trek: Bridge Commander Demo. The demo is 120 MB to grab and you can find it HERE. It´s also available on the official site for Bridge Commander. The demo requires 350 MB of uncompressed temporary space to install (but requires only 275 MB of permanent hard drive space to run).

Today, Westwood Studios and GameSpy Arcade will be holding an official multiplay demo of Command & Conquer Renegade. GameSpy Arcade will be the exclusive download site and host for the demo, which includes one multiplayer map, and will allow full access to all 28 characters, 23 weapons, and 11 vehicles available in the team-based C&C Mode. The great conflicts of the Star Wars universe become larger and more dynamic this spring with Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds: Clone Campaigns, a collection of new scenarios enhancements for last year's acclaimed RTS (real-time strategy) game from LucasArts Entertainment Company LLC. Expected to release in May on the PC, Clone Campaigns is inspired by the large-scale battles in Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, as well as the classic and expanded Star Wars universe.
