'Solaris 104' Release Dates Announced

GameActive Networks is happy to announce that versions of the localized adrenaline-pumping unrelenting action Solaris 104 have just hit Poland and Italy; in Poland the game is distributed by TopWare Poland, while in Italy it's being distributed by Microforum Italia. The English wide-European version will be hitting shelves in the UK, Germany, Austria, Scandinavia, Benelux and Switzerland in the end of February (distributed by Akaei PLC), while the North American version will be hitting stores in March. The official English demo will be coming soon. Stay tuned!!

JD over at tiscali.cz let us know that they have a premiere demo of Hooligans: Storm over Europe, "recently released controversial real-time strategy from Darxabre". The object is to become the most notorious group of Hooligans in Europe. You must kill, maim and destroy the opposing Hooligan teams. You muster and control your faithful troops by administering drugs, alcohol and ofcourse a good dose of violence every now and then.The demo is 63 MB to grab and you find it here.

THQ Now Holds Exclusive Worldwide Rights

Nickelodeon today named THQ Inc. master interactive licensee for several of Nickelodeon leading properties. THQ now holds exclusive, worldwide interactive rights to publish games based on all existing and future individual Nickelodeon animated TV and movie properties targeting kids ages 6-11 on every game system through 2005. Game systems include those manufactured by Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft, as well as PC.
