Evolved Games and Rebellion announced today that Judge Dredd: Dredd Versus Death will be out for all of the console gaming platforms as well as for PC on March 1, 2005.

A few weeks back BAM! Entertainment and developer Rebellion announced a publishing deal to bring Judge Dredd: Dredd Vs. Death. to North America, scheduled for this November 2004. Today Bam! updated their release schedule reflecting the game has been pushed back on all platforms until February 2005.

Rebellion is pleased to announce that Judge Dredd: Dredd Vs. Death is now available on PC, PlayStation 2 and Xbox from all good games retailers, and online from stockists such as GAME (you can also check out an exclusive six-page online Dredd strip at www.game.uk.com ) at an RRP of £29.99 (PC) and £39.99 (PlayStation 2, Xbox). Rebellion, developer of the forthcoming Judge Dredd: Dredd Vs. Death for PC, PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube announced today that due to a duplication error at a third party, unfinished beta builds of the game have been sent out for review as 'finished' games to a number of magazines across PC, PlayStation 2 and Xbox formats. It has also been announced that the release date for Judge Dredd: Dredd Vs. Death on PC, PS2 and Xbox has now been moved back to the early part of October. A specific release date will be announced when it is confirmed. Currently the GameCube release date of 21 November is unaffected.

For instance, because Dredd must obey the law he upholds and react according to the severity of all crimes, gamers won't be able to just blast their way through the game, shooting petty criminals at will (not unless they fancy spending the rest of their life breaking rocks on Titan).
