There is a new Global Operations movie available from Barking Dog's upcoming team-based FPS, Global Operations. This new movie is 4.7 Mb to download and showing more from the team-based tactical shooter. Grab the file from FilePlanet.

Respected computer and video game developer Jester Interactive, creators of the award-winning Music series, is to launch its own games publishing operation. With a strong portfolio of official and licensed properties, the Jester brand will be used to publish titles on all major gaming platforms, with the first release expected in April 2002.

This version 1.42 release mainly addresses about a dozen bugs and also includes a few other minor improvements. Upgrade 3 is required before running this patch. If running version 1.0, or 1.1 of Operation Flashpoint, you will first need to install Upgrade 2. Once you are patched to version 1.2, you can install Upgrade 3. "Thanks Blues for pointing this out!" Bigben Interactive, one of Europe's leading independent distributors of interactive entertainment, today announces another exclusive distribution deal, this time with Global giant, Ubi Soft * Entertainment. The new deal grants Bigben Interactive exclusive distribution rights in Europe for 4 Ubi Soft Dreamcast titles.

Interactive Ideas, a leading distributor, have decided to go in to publishing and their first game called Atrox is out in April. Atrox is a strategy game for the PC and has already sold well in Korea.

There is a new dedicated server available for download for Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis , the 3D tactical action game by Bohemia Interactive. This version 1.41 update requires the previous v1.40 server distribution as the download contains only a new OFP_Server.exe, which "fixes many known issues." Grab it here.
