Konami announced today an official online tournament for its tactical espionage action game, MGS 3: Subsistence to take place between July 29th and September 17th. The tournament will let gamers compete with others nationwide for a chance to win a selection of incredible Metal Gear prizes and top honors as the best players in the country.

The 3-disc set features an advanced version of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater; a second disc boasting a wealth of new game modes, including a full online version of the game, plus perfect recreations of the two MSX Metal Gear titles; and a three-and-a-half hour movie recut from the game’s cinematics on the third disc.
