EA is not only prepping Spore: Galactic Adventures, where players' space faring creatures will be able to beam down from their spaceships to explore new planets and earn rewards for completing challenging missions, but is also planning new installments. Spore: Hero Arena (NDS) will follow in the footsteps of its Spore Creatures predecessor, while Spore: Hero will be the first title specifically made for the Wii, and focus on avatar creation and adventuring. Spore: Creature Keeper (PC) is aimed at the younger audience, labeled as a mini-Sims, and will put emphasis on nurturing a new creature.

EA's Q2 2009 financial result reveals increased revenue ($894 million,up $254 million as compared to last year) driven by Spore (2 million units sold), Warhammer Online (1.2 million sold, 800k users), Madden 09, Mercenaries 2, Tiger Woods 09 and a few others. However, losses also increased from last year's $195 million to $310 mill., and as a result, EA will restructure, starting with a 6% workforce reduction, which will save $50 mill/year.
