Today was a bad CrimeCraft day. There seems to be something hinky going on with the servers. Ever since the last patch, it's been crapping out multiple times a day, loot doesn't drop as it should, and there is lag all around. Not a fun gaming experience at alll ....
No watching got done today, as we had to go over to a friend's place right after work, although tomorrow I might try to catch up on a few episodes of Criminal Minds.

Yesterday was a good day. Not only was it nice and sunny out (although still chilly), but we also managed to get to the Apple store and pick up a new iPod. There were so many choices that I had a hard time deciding which one to buy: Nano, iPod Touch or iPod Classic. Eventually, we settled on the iPod Classic since it has the biggest HD for all our music, which will be its sole purpose.
We have nothing planned for later today, so after breakfast, we might go for a run. The weather is better now, so it's time to get in some exercise.

Well, that holiday is over with. Nothing special happened, just a nice excuse to do absolutely nothing. We slept late, ate late, played some Plants vs. Zombies on the iPod and watched some Winter Olympics, The Amazing Race, Supernatural, 24, and The Good Wife. Very productive day indeed ....
I'm sure today will be much busier, so without further delay, let's get to it ....

It turned out to be a rather quiet day yesterday, apart from a slew of game announcements, everybody ramping up their titles again after the holidays, and EA revealing their lineup through next year. (That must be a first.)
We have a few press events to attend this week, so some more preview and interview coverage will be coming your way. Keep an eye out.
Quiet days make for quiet evenings, so we got to catch up on some TV series: Chuck, Kitchen Nightmares, NCIS and Psych.

Hey look, I made it without getting drunk and falling asleep. This must be rehab!
Earlier this week, we went to a BioShock 2 event, and then THQ was in town to show off Metro 2033 and Dawn of War II: Chaos Rising, so we'll have some interviews and previews coming in the next few days. Keep an eye out.
Last night, we watched the latest episode of Burn Notice, and it was excellent, probably one of the best yet. Tonight we're meeting up with some friends for some drinks (you've been forewarned), but hopefully we'll be able to watch
The Hurt Locker sometime this weekend, as we bought the DVD the other week, and I'm itching to see it again!

Today was a day filled with running errands and watching some TV, just the way we like it, and since we did all our chores today, we've got absolutely nothing planned for tomorrow. Lazy Day!
We watched
The Taking of Pelham 123 with
Denzel Washington and
John Travolta (as the bad guy), as well as the latest episodes of The Good Wife and Dollhouse.

Don't you just hate it when you just can't seem to wake up from a nap and it turns into a five- to six-hour stretch? Anyhow, the weekend is here, so it's all good.
We plopped ourselves on the couch, put a few logs in the fire, and watched Stargate Universe, Supernatural and an episode of Flashforward before we succumbed to the sleep monster. Not a bad stretch of TV watching. If we can maintain this pace tomorrow, we might actually make a dent in the backlog.
Seems our
Assassin's Creed II review kicked up a little dust. Sorry, Charlie; we call it as we see it.

We had high hopes on Sunday to get a few things crossed off our to-do list, but alas, we failed. It's not such a bad thing because they weren't all that important to begin with.
We did, however, see
Boondock Saints II, and it was great. A little awkward with the inclusion of a new "gang" member, which threw off the trio's chemistry a little bit, but overall, the flick was great. If you were a fan of the original, you'll love the sequel, and if you never heard of the movie before, you'll enjoy it either way. While one of the quotes says, "Let's do some gratuitous violence," it's violence without being too over the top. A few dozen people die throughout the movie, but there's not a lot of gibs, guts or massive loads of blood.
