Last week Zombie Studios announced it was working on
Blacklight, an Unreal-engine powered covert military action game, which then begged the question, what happened to Bethesda's
Rogue Warrior? Zombie Studios confirmed that it is no longer working on the story-driven tactical FPS and has not been for a while, but declined to comment on whether the game was canceled. We contacted Bethesda, who confirmed that Rogue Warrior is still in development, obviously by another team, and that an update on the status of the game is coming soon.

a year after acquiring the Rise of Nations developer, THQ has notified the Big Huge Games staff that it is looking to sell off the studio, or closed it down, according to
Crispy Gamer. As part of its
restructuring efforts THQ will cut costs by $220 million, and lay off 600 employees worldwide. To achieve that goal it will not only close BHG, but also granted Heavy Iron and Incinerator their independence. Closing Big Huge Games would be the second big loss for real time strategy gamers after Microsoft recently
