Ubisoft today announced that Far Cry Instincts will ship for consoles in September 2005. Far Cry Instincts is a technically advanced gaming experience built from the ground up using the kind of cutting-edge technology that Far Cry fans will recognize from the PC title. A hands-on demo of Far Cry Instincts will be present at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) May 18th - May 20th in Los Angeles, California.

reported last week, Electronic Arts has signed a worldwide publishing agreement with Far Cry developers Crytek, which made us wonder what would happen with the 'Far Cry Instincts' console edition. Recently, Ubisoft announced that
Far Cry Instincts was pushed back for both Xbox and PlayStation2 to Q1 2005, which makes sense in light of the new developments. Today it came to our attention that Crytek is no longer in charge of the 'Far Cry Instincts' project, but it is instead under the internal wings of Ubisoft Montreal.
