Japan in the1500's, the power of the samurai class is fading and the use of the Ninja has become necessary to hold any political power in this chaotic time. Kurenai a young girl who’s world is destroyed when she and her father are attacked by the deadly Black Lizard Clan, who captures her and brutally hangs her by a wire and left to die. Miraculously, she survives and is rescued and adopted into a clan where she obtains complete mastery of her unique weapon, the wire. Kurenai has pledged her undying loyalty to her new family. She now lives to avenge her father’s death and will go to any means necessary to destroy the Black Lizard Clan.

Namco Hometek Inc. announced today that I-Ninja, the company’s action adventure character-based game, has begun shipping to retail outlets nationwide for the GameCube and the Xbox. The game, also currently available for the PlayStation2, is rated T for Teen and carries an MSRP of $49.99. Consumers purchasing Nintendo GameCube versions of I-Ninja may also receive a free copy of Pac-Man vs., the new multiplayer game exclusively for Nintendo GameCube with connectivity to Game Boy Advance.

Namco Hometek Inc. announced today that its popular 3rd person action adventure character-based game, I-Ninja, has been approved for manufacturing for the PlayStation2. The game is scheduled to swing into action with a late November release. I-Ninja will also ship for the Nintendo GameCube and the Xbox later this year.

Namco announced today the launch of the
official Web site for I-Ninja, the popular new action adventure game scheduled for release on PS2, Xbox and GameCube in Q4 2003. The Web site provides a wealth of information, including the latest news, detailed game information, screenshots and a short movie of game play footage. The diehard I-Ninja follower will feast on the latest online toys, including wallpaper designs, instant message icons, message board avatars and a soon-unveiled desktop communicator. Additionally, an online message board allows I-Ninja fans to discuss the upcoming release and participate in “Sensei’s Dojo,” a forum dedicated to the creation of new Ninja principles.

Namco announced today the company has signed renowned animated filmmakers Don Bluth and Gary Goldman to create and direct the in-game cinematics for the upcoming title, I-Ninja. Famous for bringing memorable characters to life in the animated film world, Bluth, Goldman and their team will create the in-game movies for I-Ninja. The game, scheduled for release on the PlayStation2 and GameCube in Q4 2003, stars an ultra-cool ninja who combines his major attitude with extreme sports gameplay mechanics.
