S2 Games announced today that it is extending the sign-up date for gamers wishing to be a part of their closed beta process for Savage 2: A Tortured Soul, to June 1, 2006. Previously, customers who wished to be a part of the beta phase needed to pre-order the game by April 15, 2006.

Valve's
SteamPowered website has been updated with details regarding the latest update to Earth 2160 (save game issue fixed) and Counter-Strike Source. This update adds HDR to de_dust, resizes crates, adds new GSG9 and Arctic player models, improves lag compensation, and a few other minor tweaks. Just restart Steam for the effects to take place.

On Wednesday Apple unveiled new software that allows Intel-based Macs to run Microsoft's Windows XP software. The computer maker said its new "Boot Camp" software is available as a download beginning Wednesday.
