Wargaming has released another patch for their strategy game
Massive Assault bringing your retail game to v1.2.209. "This patch mostly affects Multiplayer mode of the game: after-game and before-game messaging has been improved, added random side challenges and an option to enforce victory in the time-out games. Codemasters has released the first patch for Colin McRae Rally 04. This upgrade brings your retail game to v1.01 and improves the ghost car tracking system, to improve the visibility over LAN/Internet. Controller calibration is now smoother and less hard to control. The gear box testing sections are now better balanced. The game now report the ready state correctly in LAN/Internet multiplayer modes. Added code to display name, damage, tracks, etc when using GameSpy Arcade.

Vivendi Universal Games announced today that it is currently taking applications for the Tribes: Vengeance beta testing program, which will begin June 14th and run for several months. The closed beta program will begin with a very limited group but expand weekly until later this Summer when the public will be invited to partake in the testing. Tribes: Vengeance will ship to retail stores worldwide in October 2004.

EA has issued a
community update in which they announce that a new Battlefield Vietnam v1.02 patch is expected somewhere next week, as well as revealing more details about the larger BFV v1.1 update. "DICE has been able to track down the Crash to Desktop issue that has been reported by the members of our community since the 1.01 update. We will be releasing a new BFV update that addresses this issue next week. Please note that this update is meant only to address the Crash to Desktop issue (along with a related disconnect issue)."
