E3 will present Hip Interactive Europe with the ideal opportunity to make a number of new and exciting announcements as well as showing off Pariah (Xbox, PC) from Digital Extremes, who will also be in attendance for specific interviews.Already Pariah is being tagged by the world's media as one of the most exciting games in development and Hip Games will continue to present equally aggressive game acquisitions. On display will be The Mummy: The Animated Series (Universal) - PS2, PC and XBOX, CT Special Forces - PS2, XBox and PC, Gadget and the Gadgetinis - Garfield (PAWS) PS2, PC plus a number of yet to be announced titles.

The Matrix Online, the massively multiplayer online game that will allow players to jack into The Matrix, is accepting signups for the beta test. Those fortunate few in the beta will take an active role in continuing the saga, created by the Wachowski Brothers in The Matrix movie trilogy, set immediately after the end of The Matrix Revolutions.

Playlogic International unveils upcoming titles at the E3 game exhibition in Los Angeles. New games include; Inuits (PS2, PC) and Xyanide for GBA, N-Gage and Symbian phones. In addition, visitors can get a first look at 'Project Delta' and, behind closed doors only, a first look at project 'Snap'. The finished games; Cyclone Circus (PS2), Xyanide (Xbox), Airborne Troops (PC & PS2) and Alpha Black Zero (PC) can be played at the booth.

As announced before, beta sign-ups begin today for EverQuest II, the next-generation massively multiplayer online (MMO) game from Sony Online Ent. Inc. (SOE). Thousands of players are expected to apply in order to test the game beginning this June. EverQuest II will be available at retail in North America after the Beta program is complete later in the year.

Digital Jesters has released a new patch for Cyanide Studios' rugby manager Pro Rugby Manager 2004. This upgrade brings your retail gamr to v1.05 and adresses a TNT2 & WIN98 crash, online database loading problem, withdrawal crash and a few other things. Matrix Games and Panther Games are pleased to release the latest update for the award-winning Highway to the Reich wargame. DICE and EA are pleased to announce that the first Battlefield Vietnam update has entered the home stretch and should be ready for release in the very near future. Matrix Games and Adanac Command Studies has released the first patch for Adanac Command Studies. This update brings your retail game to v2.1 and focuses on bugs reported by customers since the initial release. The list of fixes includes Army Commander attachments, Some rare text overlaps and blank combat screens, PBEM issues and map display issues. With this patch, virtually all reported bugs have been addressed and the play experience should be improved.

Ubisoft today announced the launch of the mod section within the official Far Cry community site hosted by Ubi.com. Far Cry (PC, Rated-M, $39.99 MSRP) features the intuitive Sandbox Editor, a powerful tool that allows users to create new Far Cry levels and mods.
