Gamespot is reporting that Sammy's popular 2D fighting game Guilty Gear XX #Reload is headed for the PC, is ported by Japan's Media Kite, and has a tentative Japanese release date for July 23. Guilty Gear XX #Reload is an updated version of Guilty Gear XX and besides game balance adjustments, it will also feature a new character Robo-Ky, gallery mode, story mode and alternate character versions. After previously being delayed for an undetermined period of time, the official Far Cry website has now been updated with word that the Far Cry v1.2 patch is in its final stages and is expected to be released soon. During the past few days, the FarCry mod community (especially German based mods) went "on strike" and threatened to take their mod development to other game engines if UbiSoft did not release the promised patch & SDK soon.
