The WarBirds team will launch the official download of the PTO theater on Wednesday, 2 April. This is the fruit of their last three months of labor, and will include a new PTO terrain, five new aircraft (and variants), two new ground vehicles, a few new or improved cockpits for existing aircraft, and a new strategic resupply system in addition to many bug fixes and other improvements.. Though the update becomes official on Wednesday, they will upload it to some mirror sites earlier in the week to give everyone a chance to grab the download prior to release. In development currently is Airborne Assault: Highway to the Reich covering all three battles from operation Market Garden. Yesterday we had an updated Mistmare demo and now Arxel Tribe & Sinister Systems have released an update to bring the alternate-history adventure/RPG demo to v1.301 (thanks Bluesnews). They describe this as the "First version of the demo with improved keyboard controls" after yesterday's version (story) that added those now-improved controls. There's also a new version of the full demo for download, along with word to expect more updates going forward: "The movability is much better, you may (experience) some problems in Greece. Atari today announced the release of Superman: Shadow of Apokolips for the Nintendo GameCube and Superman: Countdown to Apokolips for the Game Boy Advance. Developed by Infogrames’ Sheffield House and based on the Warner Bros. and DC Comics hit animated series, The New Superman Adventures. Superman: Shadow of Apokolips for Nintendo GameCube is a port of the successful version currently available on PlayStation2, and also features voice acting by the original cast, a sweeping orchestral score and more than 30 minutes of stunning cinematics.
