eGames today announced that it has partnered with Sandlot Games to release Cake Mania in retail outlets worldwide. The game is a colorful title that has players creating a bakery from scratch, earning money to buy new equipment, and, best of all, designing customized cakes.

Trick Star is an extreme, futuristic racer, built around the fantastical sport of Trick Star Racing. Competitors chose from a variety of tricked-out, one-wheeled stunt bikes on which they race and perform an array of crafty tricks and maneuvers.

Contrary to what was said at the Microsoft E3 briefing, Rockstar Games just announced Grand Theft Auto IV for the PS3 and Xbox 360, scheduled for release in North America on Oct 16, 2007 and in Europe on Oct 19, 2007. Microsoft's Peter Moore, however, did announce episodic content through Xbox Live.

Electronic Arts today announced that Madden NFL 07 is being custom-designed for Nintendo's next-gen console, Wii. Sony today announced the launch of the first "Greatest Hits" for the PSP system. The initial selection includes five first-party titles – Ape Escape: On the Loose, ATV Offroad Fury: Blazin' Trails, Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee, Twisted Metal: Head On, and WipeoutPure – that will be available for $19.99 SRP on July 25. Nearly 15 third-party games will be added to the roster in the future.
