DogTag Developer Terminates Contract With Digital Jesters

KaosKontrol announces that Digital Jesters has been in breach of contract and has therefor terminated the publishing agreement with Digital Jesters with immediate effect. KaosKontrol has additionally moved to petition a compulsory Winding-Up of the company 'Digital Jesters Distribution' with the district court of Birmingham in the United Kingdom and informs that its attorneys may initiate legal steps against the directors of Digital Jesters for fraud under section 206 of the Insolvency Act 1986. The development and ownership of game products are entirely unaffected and KaosKontrol will rapidly move to place them with another publisher.

Jesper Kyd, the electronic and symphonic composer of the Hitman series, today announced he has partnered with Nile Rodgers’ Sumthing Else Musicworks record label and Sumthing Distribution to market and distribute the original soundtrack for Eidos’ No.1 selling Hitman: Contracts. The album is released today at music retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, CDNow, HMV, Musicland, Tower, and Virgin. The official soundtrack CD is also available to order from www.sumthing.com.

The site gives you an overview of the game, information about the locations, characters and weapons featured in the game as well as some low res screenshots. In April of 2004 across North America, the contract is out, whether it's PS2, Xbox or PC, you'll have to sign on the dotted line...

Jesper Kyd (www.jesperkyd.com) is following up his work on the award-winning soundtracks for IO Interactive’s Hitman series and Freedom Fighters (recipient of GameSpot’s 2003 Best Original Music in a Game Award) with an entirely new original score for Hitman: Contracts. Music composed and produced by Kyd is also featured in the debut movie trailer for Hitman: Contracts.
