Set in the surroundings of Germany in the 1700s, the game deals with two historical elements: witch hunts and the legend of Faust. In the Knights Contract storyline, Faust is an evil alchemist who lead a series of witch hunts that resulted in the deaths of many. The person tasked with performing the execution of these witches was an executioner named Heinrich (Thanks Andriasang).

Well here we are again, kicking off another news week. There are a few press events lined up in the next few days, so we should have some cool coverage coming up. The first pre-E3 invitations rolled in last week, so there's no ignoring it anymore; it's rapidly approaching.
We did well on the TV watching and got caught up on the latest episodes of The Amazing Race, Bones, Chuck, FlashForward and NCIS. This week, Iron Man 2 is opening, so we're going to see it Friday or Saturday for sure. Exciting!

Konami has created the all-new Network Business Development Department, in charge of all future downloadable content and mobile titles, including WiiWare, PSN, XBLA and DSiWare as well as iPhone and other mobile phone platform releases, starting with DRiiFT MANIA later this month, and the all-action Contra Rebirth in August.

While there has not been any official announcement yet, it seems Konami is not only bringing Gradius back but also its popular Contra franchise. While it is not quite clear whether Contra ReBirth is a new installment or a revamped old title, it does include 2 player co-op. So far only Japan is getting it, next week for 1,000 Wii Points) so we'll have to wait a little longer for more details.

Kohnke Communications, the public relations firm that handled Perpetual Entertainment's
Gods and Heroes campaign, is suing the developer over breach of contract, fraudulent transfer of assets and other violations for $80,000 to $290,000 in damages. According to court documents revealed by
Ten Ton Hammer, Kohnke alleges that Perpetual transferred the Star Trek Online license to a newly created company and
canceled Gods and Heroes as a way of evading creditors.

Never passing up an opportunity to lambast video games, Florida attorney Jack Thompson compared gamers to hitmen in
a statement involving a brutal crime where two teenagers killed another teen for not letting them borrow his car. Thompson made the link to his favorite game, Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto, and asked local police to look for violent video games, then making a statement saying "Nobody shoots anybody in the face unless you're a hit man or a video gamer."
