earlier this year the game was slated for 2010-2011, NCsoft's latest financial conf. call revealed that it won't make it next year, so at the earliest 2011, but as solace to the fans CEO Jaeho Lee revealed that there might be a beta test next year.

To celebrate the 2nd anniversary of Guild Wars this weekend (April 27 to April 29), players from all three campaigns will be treated to a variety of in-game activities, including fireworks, games, prizes, and cupcakes.
