Nintendo has shipped The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker for the GameCube, unleashing a brand new chapter in the long running and popular action role-playing series from Nintendo. The latest chapter reveals an all-new hero who just happens to be named link whose sister is one day kidnapped by a bird and taken to the dark and sinister fortress island called the Forsaken Fortress. Donning the trademark green garb, Link sets out on a high seas adventure using a variety of new talents, techniques, weapons and tools in an effort to save his sister and ultimately fulfill his destiny as the latest incarnation of the fabled "Hero of Time". One of the most striking things about this latest Zelda game is that it is completely cel-shaded and offers uplink support via the GBA that gives Link access to a special friend named "Tingle" who helps him out in a variety of ways including giving hints on hidden objects and a whole lot more. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker for GameCube should be widely available beginning today with widespread availability expected as the week unfurls.

Vic DeLeon Sr. Producer @ Digitalo Studios posted up following information on
Devastation forum:
The majority has spoken. Apparently this was a legitimate enough gripe and we will comply like the good developers we are trying to be. Most of the weapon sounds will be given an overhaul, with more bass, and pitch adjustments. I cannot promise anything but these changes should be in the full patch.
Thanks again for all the feedback and support. Keep it comin!
