Now it's your turn. There are no rules. Drive anywhere in the city. Find the fastest route, and win the car. Developed by Angel Studios, Midnight Club II is expected to hit retail shelves in the United States for PlayStation2 on February 11, 2003, with versions for the Xbox video game system from Microsoft and the PC expected to hit in Spring 2003.

Carbon 6 has announced its first project 'American McGee's Oz'.. American McGee puts his signature touch on another classic children's tale. This time the Lands of Oz are visited in a prequel adventure to the original books that will take you on a colorful journey through a unique world filled with dozens of interesting characters and stories. "Oz offers a diverse world and large range of characters to explore and meet." said American from his Hollywood design studio, "I'm really excited to be working with such rich material and amazing technology." Oz is being produced for the Microsoft Xbox and PC and is scheduled for release some time in 2004. The Oz soundtrack is being produced by Media Ventures. A line of Oz toys will be hitting store shelves soon. A book and film deal are to be announced.

The Register report that after the launch of Microsoft's new multiplayer game - Asheron's Call 2 Fallen Kings - in the US and Canada has been mired in controversy after the giant software company admitted that the game is only available to subscribers in nine countries. Thousands of people around the world currently play Asheron's Call 1, an online role-playing game where players inhabit a 3D fantasy world. And many of this hardcore group of gamers have pre-ordered copies of the new game from Web sites outside of their own country. Now, many are up in arms after the launch of the latest much-anticipated game in North America, the game's producer has admitted that it cocked-up.

The officiall Platoon forum is updated with details of every map available in Raven-Shield and the mission listing. These 15 missions will make up the single player campaign, and will be playable in multiplayer as cooperative missions, or in any of the other game types (survival, team survival etc). (thanks Blues)

Capcom Entertainment announced a multi-million dollar national marketing campaign to support the recent release of Resident Evil 0, exclusively for the Nintendo GameCube. The marketing campaign, which will run throughout the holiday season, features a multi-million dollar North American television advertising program that begins November 25, a slew of print ads in consumer and enthusiast publications, an extensive radio and online advertising to generate over 250 million consumer impressions.

Newly formed Jaleco Entertainment has revealed it has secured the publishing rights to the GBA game Jazz Jackrabbit. This action platformer is the next evolution of the Jazz Jackrabbit license. The Austin based development team “Game Titan” has incorporated 4-player features to it’s “Tournament Mode” that will support single cartridge as well as multi-cartridge play.
