Octagon today announced it is working with Bihrle Applied Research of Hampton, Virginia and Third Wire Productions of Austin, Texas to create a flight simulator game based on the 1903 Wright Flyer. A training simulator is being developed to teach an elite team of pilots how to successfully fly an authentic replica of the Wright aircraft during December’s Centennial of Flight Celebration in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. The training software will be modified to create a commercial flight simulator that will be geared toward the flight sim and aviation enthusiast markets. The computer game is scheduled for completion in late spring 2003.

The SWAT: Global Strike Team was founded in 2018 as an international offshoot of the U.S. SWAT organization. Primarily established to supplement the income of the U.S. SWAT establishment, the Global Strike Team contract their personnel and expertise to companies and countries around the world to help “resolve” situations for those who have the funds but not the means to do so. The GST is made up of specially selected SWAT officers and ex-military personnel who have shown the ability to adapt to and overcome any situation they encounter. Noticed on ToTheGame that Starbreeze today unveiled Enclave 2, the sequel to its action/adventure title already available on next-gen consoles (and to be released on PC soon). Enclave 2 will feature 10 different playable characters, 28 unique maps, approx. 100 weapons, and more. The game is currently developed on Xbox, PS2, GameCube and PC.
