LucasArts released a patch for their recently released 'Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast'. This update brings your current game to version 1.03. This patch brings a slur of single/multi-player bug fixes/improvements, adds a few (4) new multiplayer maps (Duel mode), Force Feedback & 3D Sound support. Activision just released a new upgrade patch for their recently released 'SpiderMan The Movie' game. The upgrade will only work for the US Microsoft Windows 95/98/2000/ME version of Spider-Man Movie and upgrade your current game to v 1.1. Read more for detailed fix list and links where to grab it.

Ubisoft just released a new v1.04B update patch for their WW II flight sim. This 11mb puppy fixes several multiplayer/coop mode bugs. A new 1.05 patch is already announced which will contain new aircraft. Read more to get a detailed fix list and links where to grab it.

Got Game Entertainment and Prograph Research today announced a North American publishing agreement for "Tsunami 2265", a futuristic "shoot’em up" PC action game. "We are thrilled to be bringing ‘Tsunami 2265’ to the North American market," said Howard Horowitz, President of Got Game Entertainment, "Prograph has definitely created a truly unique and exciting PC game." Ubi Soft Entertainment, one of the world's largest videogame publishers, today revealed its plans for the Electronic Entertainment Expo, one of the industry's major events of the year. Focusing on powerful brands, Ubi Soft is showcasing two never before seen Tom Clancy games - Tom Clancy's Rainbox Six Raven Shield and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell. Ubi Soft will also unveil the new sequel to the 10 million plus, best-selling Rayman franchise with the eagerly anticipated Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc. Also new this year, Michel Ancel's new creation, creator of Rayman. This top secret game will finally be revealed for the first time at the show. In addition, Ubi Soft plans to show its versatility with the debut of XIII, a first person shooter that contains a completely interactive graphic novel.

EA has released a new patch for Sid Meier's Sim Golf. The v1.03 patch fixes "an obscure crash related to the selection of female golfer heads on the customization screen which affected theme packs and importation of custom heads". Read more for a detailed list and links where to grab this puppy.

Midway Games Inc., announced that it has secured the license from DC Comics and Warner Bros. Consumer Products to publish videogames based on the Justice League comic book franchise and animated television series featuring the world’s greatest super heroes and some of the most well-known villains. Midway plans to feature the popular characters in videogames slated for development on next-generation systems and the Nintendo Game Boy Advance.

Continuing a tradition launched at the 2000 E3 showcase, Smoking Gun, in conjunction with The Producers, are proud to unveil plans for the 2002 E3 Pool World Cup. The event is open to anybody attending the LA show, with participants engaging in a World Cup style tournament, encompassing group stages, knockout stages, and even featuring the dreaded “penalty shoot-outs”!

Codemasters today announce a blockbuster lineup of powerful games that will be showcased at this year’s E3 Expo in Los Angeles. Showing at Booth #1168 in South Hall, Codemasters’ highlights include the ‘must be seen to be believed’ Dragon Empires (PC/online), and the unveiling of Colin McRae Rally 3 (PS2, Xbox).

As expected the Half-Life v1.1.0.9 patch and the Counter-Strike v1.0.0.4 (retail CS only) have been released. These updates have tons of fixes and tweaks such as the new Anti-Cheat protection, HLTV changes, integration of Steam technology and so on. Either use the SierraUp utility, from the "Configuration-Update" menu, that was distributed with previous releases or if you are one of those Steam people, you should have it by now (thanks blues).
