'Gothic II' - Screens

The story is set in the mine valley of Khorinis. The glorious days of the once productive mines in this small seaside region are long over. Instead, the mines are now akin to a natural prison that is surrounded by an impenetrable magic barrier where slaves eked out their miserable existence.Khorinis is facing an uncertain future. Due to the farmers' decreasing production, more and more of the food deliveries are not taking place, and the stocks diminish continuously. The militia's strength ends at the town gate. Outside the town wall, nobody is safe from the bandits' armed raids. There is war in Khorinis. A civil war.

Following statement is posted under a link named 'corporate statement' on the official Hitman 2 site (the Sikh Coalition Website is also updated with information): Eidos is pleased to confirm that it has reached an amicable position with the Sikh Coalition in relation to the changing of certain images and references depicting Sikhs within the game Hitman 2:Silent Assassin which is on general release. In recognition of the concerns and sensitivities which have been raised, Eidos and the developers, IO Interactive, have responded in both a socially and commercially responsible manner by:
- removing from the Hitman 2 website all relevant images and content;
- taking steps to amend the game on all existing platforms;
- adapting the upcoming Gamecube Edition of the game. (thanks Blues)

Wargaming.net announces the development of Massive Assault, the first 3D global domination strategy game. A player will act as either "Axis-of-Good" or "Shadow Clique" Commander-in-Chief, operating with divisions of various ground war machines, battle structures, fleets and air squadrons, struggling for total control over distant colonized planets. The game is powered by Wargaming.net's proprietary high-performance 3D engine, giving unprecedented look and feel to a turn-based global-scale strategy.

As expected and announced, the multiplayer demo for MoH Allied Assault : SpearHead has arrived. You now get the change to try out the expansion pack for the hit title MoH Allied Assault, which should be in stores next week. "This demo features the multiplayer level Malta, a level exclusive to the demo and not included in the full version of the game. Also included will be the Tug-of-War map Druckkammern. The Tug-of-War mode will allow players to compete in team-based combat to seize a set number of control points. 'Soldiers Of Anarchy' - Level Design Contest Announced

Silverstyle, developer of the Real Time Strategy (RTS) game "Soldiers of Anarchy" for the PC has announced a level design contest. Starting today through November 22, fans can submit their user-made map via the SOA web site. 'Soldier Of Anarchy' comes with an easy-to-use level design editor that allows gamers to create their own worlds to play in. These levels can be played in single or multi-player mode via the Internet. To enter the contest, gamers have till November 22 to submit their level via the Soldiers Of Anarchy web site. Instructions on how to submit entries can be found at the web site.
