InterActive Vision announced the development of Pacific Warriors II, the follow-up to its World War II air combat action PC game (aka in North America as Beyond Pearl Harbor: Pacific Warriors). Pacific Warriors II will offer the same instant-action gameplay formula that the first game offered, along with the ability to play as either the US or the Japanese. Other new features include a pilot 1st person view in addition to the external 3rd person views, a choice of plane before each mission, accurate weapons and mission themes, animated ground troops and vehicles, American and Japanese-style in-game commentary and much more. ValuSoft will publish the game in the US. The game is scheduled for gold status in August 2003 (thanks gamespydaily).

THQ Inc. today announced that agreement in principle has been reached to settle the class action lawsuit first filed against the Company in February 2000. The settlement remains subject to negotiation of a final written agreement between THQ and the plaintiffs, as well as court approval.

Today GameDale are happy to officially announce their new game project - WASTED: Hostile Mechanoids Zone. Genre of the game could be best described as 3D First Person Arcade, because the main point of the game is non-stop action, without any storyline mysteries and unanswered questions (well, almost... :), no switches to activate, no keys to find, no doors to open, no stupid riddles to solve, and no hero characteristics to improve. From a gameplay point of view WASTED will remind you of the funny 3D FPS - "Serious Sam", but without everything mentioned above... Check out some screens and features below!

A playable demo of Knight Rider: the Game is now available, offering the opportunity to step into the shoes of Michael Knight and the driver's seat of his KITT car. This demo contains one mission where "KITT has to follow the helicopter and keep it range in three levels of difficulty." (thanks Tiscali). Microsoft Game Studios today announced that
Impossible Creatures has gone gold and is scheduled to ship to stores in North America on January 7... After a limited-scale stress test, Relic Entertainment has now opened the multiplayer test of their imminent 3D real-time strategy game Impossible Creatures for everyone. This test version offers the tutorial, a skirmish mode, animal combiner and online play, along with 14 of the 51 creatures from the full game. Note that the test contains the EZ Pad digital rights management software (which will no longer be present in the final game, of course), and DirectX 8.2 (thanks 3DGamers).
