Today Empire Interactive and Vivendi Universal Games announced that Endgame, developed by Cunning Developments for the PlayStation2 has shipped to retailers and is now available in stores. This Light-Gun action game features an in-depth story line unique to this genre. As Jade, players go through over 15 timed levels in a race against the clock. The combination of fast paced action, ease of use and multi-player capabilities make Endgame a perfect addition to the PS2 collection.

InstantService, a provider of cost-saving chat and email solutions, announced today that Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) Inc., a worldwide leader in massively multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPG), has selected InstantService chat to support its most successful franchise, EverQuest.

Bethesda Softworks announced today that its highly-anticipated role-playing game, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind for the Xbox video game system from Microsoft, will be in stores June 7. The PC version of Morrowind, released in May, has already won numerous awards and critical acclaim for its outstanding graphics and groundbreaking gameplay.

The MSN network of Internet services announced availability today of a new MSN TV Internet receiver manufactured by Thomson's RCA brand. This new low-cost receiver enables people to access the Internet from their home television set, using a wireless keyboard or remote control. Without an investment in a personal computer, MSN TV service subscribers can surf the Web, send and receive e-mail, chat, and create instant messages using world-class MSN services such as MSN Messenger Service and MSN Search.

Prima Games, a division of Random House Inc. and the world's leading strategy guide publisher, today announced that it has signed an exclusive agreement with global interactive entertainment publisher Infogrames, Inc. to write, publish and distribute in North America 10 computer and video game strategy guides for several of Infogrames' most anticipated titles for 2002. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Blizzard has teamed up with one of the largest names in fantasy art to bring the dark and gothic world of Diablo to life. In “Final Stand”, Keith Parkinson has meticulously depicted five mortal heroes in a desperate struggle against the Lord of Terror, Diablo. This image has been carefully reproduced in a limited quantity, with each high-quality print signed and numbered by Parkinson. These prints are printed on 100 lb. cover stock with a paper size of 24" x 34". Take me there!

Shadowbane Portal's Seira and Bubba released a very high quality E3 video journal which they compiled by filming several demos live from the booth's floor. The first portion of the journal takes place with Ashen Temper, who demonstrates swimming under water, performs some very cool spell effects, and even a takes a quick tour around the burning City of Nightbridge. It is during this portion of the video that you can start to visualize the gravity of a siege, and the amount of impact it will have on various factions and players communities. All the equipment available to TR6 exists in some form. Wheter or not it is available on a weapon platform or stand-a-lone is a game decision.

Last week, at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, the Army unveiled "America's Army," a new game series that's meant to serve as a marketing and recruiting tool for the gaming generation. Recognizing that the target audience knows a quality title when it sees one (and ignores and ridicules poor quality efforts), the Army has assembled a team of proven developers and licensed one of the premier engines on the market to make its games. Quality doesn't come cheap, though. The budget for "America's Army" is in the $7 million range. (thanks Blues).

This time you play the evil (and grumpy) character called 'The Lord Of Infinity', he can be described as a blend of Clint Eastwood and Marvin 'The Paranoid Android' (from 'Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy')... but as with the little prince (from episodes 1 to 4). The official site for Morrowind now offers two new plugins for Morrowind. The first one is called Area Effect Arrows, and features Aradraen the fletcher and her specialty arrows. The second plugin, Bitter Coast Sounds, adds sound effects and dragonfly creatures to the game.
