A new kind of game is poised to take over the PSP as Majesco and acclaimed development group, Planet Moon Studios, today jointly announced Infected, a thrilling new run-and-gun shooter that allows players' avatars to invade opponents' PSP systems via multiplayer victories. Codemasters today announces it has secured the PAL publishing rights to Worms 4: Mayhem. The Worms series recently diversified with Worms Forts Under Siege, a tactical RTS-like spin-off created for Sega. However, Worms 4: Mayhem is a return to the series' trademark gameplay and sees Team 17's core Worms design and development team regrouping for a game of explosive annelid annihilation.

already revealed last night, Ubisoft today announced that Cyan Worlds will launch its final adventure, Myst V: End of Ages, in fall 2005 (PC and Mac hybrid disk format). Rand Miller, co-creator of Myst and founder of Cyan Worlds, leads the Spokane-based development team in creating this final episode, bringing closure to the Myst storyline via its most dramatic and immersive experience to date.

While we already had a first trailer a few days ago, Electronic Arts today announced that EA SPORTS Rugby 2005 is under development as the newest ongoing franchise in the EA SPORTS lineup.
