CDV Software Entertainment, a leading publisher and distributor of gaming software, is pleased to announce the official international "Blitzkrieg" tournament. "Blitzkrieg" for the PC is the latest in WWII real-time strategy that brings trench warfare, fierce tank battles, and aerial dog fights vividly to life. Organised and operated in cooperation with Turtle Entertainment, online tournaments will run in Germany, the United Kingdom, France and the United States. The two best players from each country will be flown to the Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany and compete in the finals this August for a prize money of 5000 EUR (about 3500 £). German GameStar got word that the unofficial addon for CDV's latest real time strategy game Blitzkrieg reached the gold status. Total Challenge is expected to be released in the next few weeks and apart from the obvious new missions it will also contain 2 additional editor manuals.
