CDV today announced the North American release dates of two upcoming real-time strategy titles for the PC platform. 'Blitzkrieg: Burning Horizon,' the sequel to 2003's hit title 'Blitzkrieg' is scheduled for a release date of June 8. 'Codename: Panzers,' a fully 3D World War II real-time strategy game, is slated for retail stores on August 31.

CDV Software Entertainment, a leading publisher and distributor of gaming software, is pleased to announce the official international "Blitzkrieg" tournament. "Blitzkrieg" for the PC is the latest in WWII real-time strategy that brings trench warfare, fierce tank battles, and aerial dog fights vividly to life. Organised and operated in cooperation with Turtle Entertainment, online tournaments will run in Germany, the United Kingdom, France and the United States. The two best players from each country will be flown to the Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany and compete in the finals this August for a prize money of 5000 EUR (about 3500 £).
