CodeRed - Standalone Version Available NOW

The debut release of CodeRed, a modified version of the Quake II source code. CodeRed offers a science fiction theme covering 20 levels featuring new weapons, new enemies, and more, along with a reworked engine that supports 32-bit color, new particle effects, stainmaps, and more. Twice the game as the original -- Devil May Cry 2's level design far exceeds the original. Much of the game's environment is outdoors and will include a Gotham-like cityscape and an old European town. More environments will be announced as the release date approaches! Today we have a brand new trailer showing off some in game footage from Square's next installment of their epic console RPG series Final Fantasy X2. They claim the game will have both offline and online components (unlike FFXI, which will be the series' first online foray), but have not commented further on exactly what's in store. Yasumi Matsuno from the Final Fantasy Tactics team and Hiroyuki Itou from the FFXI team are reported to be heading up the development of FFXII.
