The first-ever Battlefield console installment will drop players into the heat of battle on the high tech frontlines, entering a new modern era of combat with more firepower and new expansive environments. Armed with the latest modern weaponry, players can take control of over 30 vehicles, including tanks, helicopters and fast attack vehicles, to engage in major conflicts in some of the largest online battles.

Prison Tycoon allows you to build and run your very own correctional facility from the comfort of your own home. Control the layout of your prison buildings and the arrangement of the rooms and facilities within them, place dormitories and cellblocks, mess halls and gymnasiums. Valusoft has released a demo for Virtual Playground's strategy/management game Prison Tycoon allowing you to try out the game for 60 minutes after which you can purchase a key to unlock the full game (thanks 3DGamers). 'TOCA Race Driver 3' (PS2/Xbox/PC) Demos Coming Early 2006

In TOCA Race Driver 3 race drivers will be competing in a massive variety of the world's most aggressive motorsports, complete with explosive damage effects, head-to-head online multiplayer racing and a game engine rebuilt for a greater degree of simulation. While the game itself has been pushed back from October 2005 to Feb. 2006, Codemasters revealed that a singleplayer demo, for all platforms, will be released January 2006, and a multiplayer demo to coincide with the game's retail launch.

East Front is a high-tech first-person 3D shooter. The action takes place in an alternate universe where the fascist Germany won in the Second World War. A soldier of the German Resistance, Karl Stolz, turns out to be involved in the deadly play of mysterious powers, and at stake is control over the entire world.

It seems developer Best Way is not only working on a sequel to Outfront, known in Europe & US as Soldiers: Heroes of World War II, but is currently also working on an expansion called "Saboteurs." The addon will allow you to head up a group of 6 Soviet saboteurs and carry out a number complex tasks behind enemy lines, such as capture German officers, destroy enemy radars, or take over strategic locations such as railway stations.

'Act of War: Direct Action' - v1.06 Patch Available NOW

'Battlefield 2' - v1.02 Patch & Servers Available NOW

EA has released the highly anticipated first patch for DICE's Battlefield 2. This patch brings your retail game to v1.02 (eventhough it still says v1.01) and addresses the previous memory leak, an issue that caused the multiplayer browser to become unresponsive, some game controls were not available to be rebound within the Options menu, fixed a crash with rebinding LMB, AI becoming unresponsive, and a few graphical tweaks.
