In order to sway people to attend its fanfest Blizzcon, World of Warcraft developer Blizzard is offering attendees a bunch of swag (free goodies) to be announced at a later date. It did, however, already confirm that a beta key for an upcoming Blizzard game will be provided, as well as World of Warcraft in-game murloc suit, an item that can be redeemed and given to your favorite WoW character.

Formerly know as DK Bongo Blast and originally scheduled on the GameCube last year, Donkey Kong Jet is back in a new jacket. Slated for release in Japan on June 28, Donkey Kong Jet will feature 16 tracks, and a four-player multiplayer mode, although it was not disclosed if this would be on- or offline play.

Kuma Games and The History Channel announced a partnership to develop an online video game companion to The History Channel series Dogfights. Beginning in July, Kuma will release weekly games, using Valve's Source engine, that correspond with the TV episode, which will be playable for free.

To coincide with the theatrical release of Naruto The Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow, from VIZ Media LLC, Namco Bandai announced that a sneak-peak of Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2 and Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles 2, both for the PS2, will be unveiled at select theaters across the country on June 6.

Dissidia: Final Fantasy is an all-new original titles in the FF franchise, however not part of the Compilation of Final Fantasy VIII or the Ivalice Alliance. Not a standard RPG rather described as a "Dramatic Progressive Action" title, and Tetsuya Nomura, known from Kingdom Hearts, has signed on to be the character designer of the game..

In late March, it was revealed that "300" producer Thomas Tull formed Brash Entertainment to specifically develop games based on movie licenses, promising 60-100 titles over the next 5 years. Having acquired no less than $400 million in funding, the publisher currently has 12 games in development with another 40 already scheduled. The first two games, based on the "300" movie (different from Eidos' PSP-only game) and the "Saw" film series.
