by Rainier on Jan. 26, 2002 @ 12:16 a.m. PST

Playnet and Strategy First announced today that they are extending the free play time for WWII Online through January 31st, 2002 for all former account holders.

After having just released version 1.5.2, Playnet wants to give players more time to experience the new features and improvements in the game. Players are invited to come back and try World War II Online for free and if they've already come back, to enjoy the added free play time.

The virtual battlefield of World War II Online has improved greatly since its launch, with several major updates adding new vehicles and weapons, a terrain overhaul and many performance gains including load times, frame rates and connections.

For more information about the game, the re-evaluation and/or version 1.5.2, log onto the World War Online II website.
