'The Last Remnant' (PS3/X360) - 2 New Screens

The Last Remnant Remastered is an RPG that tells the story of a world filled with "Remnants" — ancient artifacts that grant mysterious power to their wielders, changing the world's balance and leading to an era of countless frays between those who ruled, and those who obeyed.

One thousand years ago humanity came into contact with Remnants. These magical fragments of a bygone era were once used to promote peace across the world. Soon, as the rift grew between those who ruled and those who obeyed, the remnants ceased being instruments of balance, and instead became paths to immeasurable power. Where once there had been peace, only bloodshed remained.

The Last Remnant will allow you to play as one of two characters, but not force you in any way. Rush Sykes will appeal to the Asian market, while The Conqueror is geared towards the Western market. The game will include four different races: Mitra (humans), Yama (Large fish-like beings), Qsiti (small humanoid lizards), Sovanni (four armed cat like creatures) while the Remnants vary in size and can take the form of machines, beasts, and weapons.

While the game is still turn-based, the battle system will not be passive, and will include QTEs in certain instances.
